Old Winery at Beringer Vineyards

Old Winery at Beringer Vineyards - Architectural Restoration - ARG

The oldest continuously operating winery in the Napa Valley, the Beringer Vineyards is rich with history to accompany its world-renowned wines. The property was first developed in the 1870s and was family-owned for the next century. The sprawling estate consists of multiple buildings; ARG led the retail expansion of the Old Winery as well as relocated the tasting room from the Rhine House to the newly restored Old Winery.

BEHIND THE SCENES

Architectural Resources Group performed a seismic upgrade on the site during the renovation; following the 2014 South Napa Earthquake, Beringer Vineyards sustained no structural damage and there was very little impact to the winery’s operations.

….

Beringer Vineyards was the first California winery to offer public tours following the end of prohibition.

The winery is a California Historical Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
