ARG recently completed Phase 2 – Learning Center Addition, for the Pasadena Conservatory of Music (PCM). Phase 2’s addition reworked PCM’s administrative wing and constructed a new learning center behind the historic building to include music studios, a technology lab, and support spaces for the Conservatory’s expanding programs. Scope includes renovated offices, accessible restrooms, and an outdoor amphitheater between the buildings. Site circulation will be enhanced by accessible paths between the new amphitheater and the historic courtyard facing Hill Avenue, and by new exterior balconies looking onto the amphitheater below. As the Conservatory’s first purpose-designed facilities, spaces will be equipped with state-of-the-art A/V equipment to elevate the Conservatory’s mission to educate and inspire the next generation of musicians.
