“Powered by PechaKucha” at the Getty

Back in December 2014, The Getty Conservation Institute held a “Powered by PechaKucha” event on the topic of Conserving Southern California’s Modern Architecture. PechaKucha is a simple presentation format in which speakers show 20 images each for 20 seconds.

Both James McLane, AIA, LEED AP and Mary Ringhoff of ARG presented at the event. James spoke about our Death Valley Furnace Creek Visitor Center project (“Mission 66 Visitor Center”), while Mary presented on our Historic Burbank Sign survey (“Postwar Signs in Burbank”).

Please click here if you would like to watch the video of the presentations. James’s part begins at the 9:40 mark, while Mary’s starts at the 22:57 spot.
